5 curiosities about Bad Bunny's Halftime Show at the Super Bowl
During the Super Bowl halftime show, which was held last night (February 8), Bad Bunny brought his Puerto Rico on stage, attended a wedding, gave the public the largest fireworks display in the history of the Super Bowl and above all showed off a low profile look.
But let's go in order.
THE LIVING BUSHES
Bad Bunny wanted his show to have the same look and feel as his concerts in Puerto Rico where he covered the stage with palm trees and sugar cane to recreate the ambiance of Vega Baja, the town where he grew up. All very nice, too bad that the Levi's stadium in Santa Clara, home of the San Francisco 49ers, uses natural grass and the NFL guidelines do not allow such a large number of carts to enter the field, which would tear up the grass. And therefore it was decided to dress people as plants. About 380 people were dressed in tall tufts of grass.
THE MARRIAGE
Bad Bunny danced with Lady Gaga during Die With a Smile, when a wedding enters the scene. A real one. The couple was real and got married for real. Over the years Bad Bunny has received many wedding invitations from his fans and he wanted to attend at least one and so he chose the Super Bowl Half Time Show to do so.
THE FIREWORKS SHOW
The fireworks display during the finale was the largest ever for a halftime show. In all, Bad Bunny's set required 9,852 theatrical pyrotechnics, including colored smoke, fireworks and enormous Puerto Rican flags, which lit up the sky at the finale.
THE GUESTS
Bad Bunny brought Lady Gaga, Karol G, Cardi B, Ricky Martin, Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba to the stage.
THE LOOK
Completely dressed in cream, with a shirt with number and name reminiscent of that of the players, Bad Bunny opted for a decidedly unusual brand. Her look was in fact designed by Zara. And Adidas sneakers, he actually wore his new sneakers in collaboration with Adidas.
But that's not all.
As NBC reports, the Bad Bunny show attracted 135.4 million viewers, officially surpassing Kendrick Lamar's 2025 performance and placing it among the most-watched halftime shows ever.
