6ix9ine is back in prison, where he will spend the next three months

On Tuesday (January 6), Tekashi reported to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he will spend the next 90 days. 6ix9ine's return to prison became an event, filmed live by streamer Adin Ross, who filmed Tekashi's last moments as a free man.

6ix9ine is back behind bars for violating three conditions of his supervised release. In March last year, police found cocaine and MDMA in the rapper's Florida home during a raid on the residence.

Four months later, Takashi pleaded guilty to drug possession. While awaiting sentencing, he attacked a man in a Palm Beach County shopping center.

He was originally supposed to return to prison in November, but the date was postponed following a violent break-in at his home, where several armed, masked men ransacked the house and briefly held the rapper's mother hostage.
