The new Nike Air Force 3 in collaboration with Nigo will be released on November 15th

The new Nike Air Force 3 in collaboration with Nigo is inspired by “Kintsugi”, an ancient Japanese art of ceramic repair which consists of rejoining broken fragments with a lacquer mixed with gold, silver or platinum powder, highlighting the “scars” instead of hiding them and will be released on November 15th.

In Japanese tradition, broken pottery is repaired with gold, Kintsugi embraces the idea that flaws and cracks can add character rather than detract from beauty.

The new Nike Air Force 3 “Kintsugi” are inspired by the colors of this philosophy: ghost white and beige, and ghost white with marbled dark gray are crossed by a gold line replicating the “crack” effect of Japanese culture.
