Estranhos Românticos premieres “Por Que Você Me Treat Assim?”

Music news

Exploring new horizons, textures and sound perceptions.

The new single from Romantic Estranhos is a deep sonic immersion that firmly anticipates their fourth and highly anticipated studio album. This piece, which defies conventional labels, is a fusion of the dense and cathartic atmosphere of post rock, the melodic and introspective vibration of psychedelic indie rock, and a surprising but palpable rhythmic influence, almost an echo of the visceral and percussive funk of James Brown. The result is an extraordinarily dense and atmospheric sound architecture, which functions as a universe in itself.

Romantic Estranhos enters a denser stage, prioritizing texture and dynamics. The rhythmic foundation anchors the sound, while the guitars create rich soundscapes with effects. The focus is on the voice, exploring a duality that goes from introspective relief to desperate scream, with lyrics of deep romantic and existential feeling.
