A chameleon-like and immersive journey.
Manu Chao has released a new EP, The Couleur Du Tempswhich consists of seven tracks. This album is an intriguing sound immersion that revisits and reworks two key pieces from their previous album, Long Live You: “Tom & Lola” and the song of the same name to the EP, “The Couleur du temps”.
What makes this EP particularly special is the collaboration with Mariano Mellinothe talented producer of the Argentine electronic scene. Mellino has taken the original versions of these two songs and subjected them to a remix that injects them with a new sonic dimension. The musical proposal of The Couleur Du Temps It is a chameleon-like journey, capable of moving fluidly from the intimacy of acoustics and the characteristic whisper tone of Manu Chaountil expanding into a synthetic and enveloping breath.
