Yesterday at the Palazzo dello Sport in Rome the first date of L'ORAZERO IN TOUR, Renato Zero's new tour.

A triumphal debut that inaugurated one of the most anticipated live journeys of the season: Rome is now preparing to welcome 5 more dates before the tour continues on the stages of the main Italian sports halls until April, for 30 dates on the calendar, many of which are already sold out, confirming a relationship with the fans (“sorcini” of every generation) that has stood the test of time and the impressive numbers of his career.

That of Renato Zero it is a show that is renewed with each tour, between songs, words, costumes and visions, taking on a new form each time. In over three hours of music and emotions, yesterday on the Capitale Zero stage he took the audience into the beating heart of his latest album L'OraZero, for the first time live, between social themes, individual fragilities and collective hopes. In the lineup there is also space for the great successes that have marked its inimitable history: from No! Mom, no! to Cercami and Il Carrozzone, and then again the dance medley to the notes of Madame, Il triangle, Mi vendo and the final one where he sang, among others, Il cielo and The best years of our life.

THE BAND

With Renato Zero on stage: the band composed of Danilo Madonia (musical direction, keyboards and piano); Lorenzo Poli (bass); Bruno Giordana (keyboards and sax); Rosario Jermano (percussion); Fabrizio Leo (guitars); Andrea Maddalone (guitars); an 8-voice choir and, with video interventions, the Piemme Project Orchestra. Also embellishing the show were the video cameos of Gabriele Lavia and Luca Ward, respectively in the roles of “Libero Pensiero” and “L'Ignoto”.

Among the most intense moments of the evening, the tribute to the victims of feminicide with the song Libera, accompanied on the screen by their names and a huge “Enough” in red, full of pain and denunciation. And surprisingly at the end the unreleased Stay with me, dedicated to the universal concept of the mother, which Zero wanted to give to himself and to the audience in one of the most touching passages of the show.
