KINGS-OF-CONVENIENCE-TOUR-2026
The Kings of Convenience return to concert in Italy with a series of live dates in the most evocative festivals in the country.
For over twenty years the Norwegian duo has embodied the most intimate and refined side of Nordic indie pop, and, for this tour, they will be accompanied by an exceptional string trio with Tobias Hett on Viola, Naomi Berrill on Cello, Davide Bettolini on Double Bass.
The tour will start on July 26th in the suggestive setting of Monfortinjazz in Monforte d'Alba (CN), and then continue on the 28th in Argenta, inside Ferrara Sotto Le Stelle, and on the 29th on the stage of the Tener-a-mente Festival in Gardone Riviera (BS). On July 31st the Kings of Convenience will be protagonists of the Be Alternative Festival in Camigliatello Silano, while on August 2nd they will perform at the Greek Theater in Tindari.
Among the most refined names of European indie pop, Kings of Convenience were born in Bergen from the meeting between Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe, both born in 1975 and friends since high school. Their rise took shape in the late 1990s with their first performances at European summer festivals. In 1999 they signed with the American label Kindercore and released their debut album, starting an international journey. With an intimate and essential style, made up of vocal harmonies and acoustic guitars, the duo has become a point of reference for Nordic indie pop over the years.
