Flea arrives with “Thinkin Bout You”

This is his return to his first instrument and his love for music.

Fleathe member of Red Hot Chili Peppershas released an instrumental and orchestral version of “Thinkin' Out You” of Frank Ocean. The ballad, in which Flea plays trumpet and bass, has the participation of the double bassist Anna Butters and a string arrangement by Nate Walcott (Bright Eyes).

This interpretation distances itself from the original theme, but manages to capture a moving and charming feeling. “Thinkin' Out You” It is the third single, after “A Plea” and “Traffic Lights” (with Thom Yorke), which follows from Honorathe debut solo album by Fleawhich will be released on March 27 via Nonesuch Records.

The album will include six original compositions, as well as covers of songs by George Clinton and Eddie Hazel, Jimmy Webb and Shea Taylor.
