TERRE RARE 96-26 is the new Subsonica tour in the main Italian summer festivals starting on June 26th.
The summer tour will follow “CIELI SU TORINO 96-26”, four special sold out concerts on the occasion of the celebration of the thirty-year anniversary of their career – on 31 March, 1, 3 and 4 April – and the announcement of the band's eleventh album entitled “Terre Rare”, out on 20 March for Epic Records/Sony Music Italy, which can be pre-ordered at this link.
“Rare Earths“is the album of the journey, of the sonic opening towards new real and imaginary geographies. It is also a journey through time but above all into the present time, with its wounds and its dreams, between its deepest shadows and its glimmers of humanity. The Rare Earths explored by Subsonica are full of new sounds, more organic than in the past and of instruments collected during a journey, undertaken by the band, on the other side of the Mediterranean.

THE TOUR
CIELI SU TORINO 96-26 does not only represent the band's long-awaited return to the live dimension. In fact, each ticket will also give the opportunity to access an engaging anthological exhibition in the OGR Cathedral entirely dedicated to the history of the group – with photos, memorabilia, stage costumes, instruments and equipment from the first albums, posters and much more -, as well as a DJ set in which, at the end of each concert, Subsonica will take turns at the console. The city of Turin itself and the Piedmont Region – thanks to the collaboration with the Turin agency Consiste. Entertainment – will be protagonists of the thirty-year anniversary celebrations, with initiatives that will involve them, intertwining with the places that have most marked the history of Subsonica: exhibitions, events, sound journeys that will transform the capital into a large open-air museum, for a mutual embrace and homage between band and city.
