OASIS also participates in the WAR CHILD – HELP charity collection (2)

Music news

War Child Records announces the presence of Oasis on one of the most anticipated releases of the year, the “HELP(2)” collection in support of War Child, with a very special addition: a stand-alone single included in the gatefold cover of the vinyl edition and as a hidden track in the double CD version.

The band have generously contributed an exclusive live version of the much-loved 'Acquiesce (Live from Wembley Stadium, 28 September '25)'. Considered by many to be one of the best B-sides ever released, the song returned to the charts for the first time thanks to the colossal Oasis Live '25 tour. This release marks the first physical release of a live recording from their record-breaking 2025 world tour, with the performance captured during the last of seven consecutive dates at Wembley Stadium.

Oasis had previously featured on the original 'HELP' album in 1995, opening the album with 'Fade Away'. Noel Gallagher also contributed as the third member of The Smokin' Mojo Filters along with Paul McCartney and Paul Weller.

Nearly three decades after their involvement in the original project, Oasis' return to the 'HELP' series underlines their continued support of War Child's mission to protect, educate and defend the rights of children affected by conflict.

“HELP(2)” will be released on Friday, March 6 via War Child Records. You can pre-order the album HERE.

'Acquiesce – Live' follows recent releases from 'HELP(2)', including 'Begging For Change' by Pulp, 'Opening Night' by Arctic Monkeys, 'Flags' by Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten & Kae Tempest, 'Let's Do It Again!' by The Last Dinner Party and 'Helicopters' by Ezra Collective & Greentea Peng,

“HELP(2)” carries forward the spirit of the original “HELP” album and was born out of a close collaboration with Abbey Road Studios, recorded predominantly over the course of one extraordinary week in November 2025 under the guidance of acclaimed producer James Ford.

“HELP(2)” features an exceptional line-up of artists, including Anna Calvi, Arctic Monkeys, Arlo Parks, Arooj Aftab, Bat For Lashes, Beabadoobee, Beck, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Black Country, New Road, Cameron Winter, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Dove Ellis, Ellie Rowsell, English Teacher, Ezra Collective, Foals, Fontaines DC, Graham Coxon, Greentea Peng, Grian Chatten, Kae Tempest, King Krule, Nilüfer Yanya, Olivia Rodrigo, Pulp, Sampha, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg and Young Fathers.

The spirit of the original album was reflected in the collaborative nature of the recording process, with numerous improvised moments born in the studio. Damon Albarn's session for “Flags” saw him joined by Johnny Marr on guitar and Kae Tempest and Grian Chatten of Fontaines DC on vocals; furthermore Olivia Rodrigo was put in contact with Graham Coxon, who later played guitar on her cover of “The Book of Love”.

In addition to the extraordinary cast of musicians involved, acclaimed director and Oscar winner Jonathan Glazer served as Creative Director of “HELP(2),” working with Academy Films to assemble a world-class creative team and overseeing the filming and art direction of the project. The concept created by Glazer and Mica Levi was simple: “By Children, For Children”, with the team entrusting the cameras directly to the children, to observe the world through their eyes and constantly remind the public and all participants of the reason for this project.

Each child used their own small video camera and was invited into the studios to film the artists during the recordings, without any restrictions. Additionally, Glazer's team collaborated with fixers and filmmakers in Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen and Sudan to collect images shot directly by children in these conflict zones. The result is a work of extraordinary impact that connects the album to the children the music aims to help.

The song will also be available for streaming from March 6th.
