Even though we do not have a representative for Eurovision this year, expectations were very high. The 12 finalists who have managed to advance to the grand final of Benidorm Fest 2026 this Saturday have set the bar very high and have finally been Tony Grox and Lucycalys who has been proclaimed winner of this fifth edition with his song T I will love.
Finally, it will be Tony Grox and Lucycalys who wins the Golden Mermaid as proof of their award-winning time at the festival on its fifth anniversary and although they will not represent Spain in Eurovision this year, they will not leave empty-handed. The winner of the contest takes home the prize 150,000 euros in cash (100,000 for the artist and the other 50,000 for the composers).
The final, which took place this Saturday at the Palau d'Esports l'Illa in Benidorm, was very close. But finally it was the duo who has won the contest with a performance that has dazzled the public, taking 48 points from the public and 166 points in total.

In addition to the grand prize of the night, the duo has won the Univision award, thanks to which they will be able to travel to Miami to record with a renowned producer.
