WU-TANG CLAN in concert this evening in Bologna (Scaletta and Info)

Music news

The legendary Wu-Tang Clan arrives this evening, March 8, in Bologna for the only Italian date of its Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber tour.

More than thirty years after its formation on Staten Island, the Wu-Tang Clan continues to represent much more than a musical group. Their impact transcends genres, eras and geographies, transforming each performance into an event capable of uniting different generations under a shared language: that of authenticity.

Wu-Tang Clan founder RZA said of the international dates:

As we continue to expand our cypher, Chamber moves from local to global.”

The “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber” tour will celebrate the depth and breadth of the iconic group's vast repertoire.

During the dates, fans will be able to hear songs never performed live, rare songs and, of course, the biggest hits from their debut album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)”, as well as their Grammy-nominated and most successful second album, “Wu-Tang Forever”, which debuted at number one in both the UK album chart and the US Billboard 200, and was certified four times platinum. To date, the group has released seven studio albums, certified gold and platinum, with worldwide sales exceeding 40 million copies.

Following their historic and groundbreaking residency in Las Vegas – the first ever for a hip-hop group – Wu-Tang Clan continued their success with a stunning 27-date North American tour for Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber. The tour received widespread critical acclaim: Rolling Stone called it “a spectacular spectacle, worthy of their legacy,” while the Los Angeles Times described it as “a historic celebration… with all the power of hip-hop excellence.”

THE HISTORY

About 30 years ago, the Wu-Tang Clan changed hip-hop music forever. Born in Staten Island, New York, in 1992 and founded by RZA, GZA and Ol' Dirty Bastard — who were joined by Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa and later Cappadonna — the Wu-Tang Clan burst onto the music scene with the release of their debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) in 1993, immediately recognized for its innovative rhythms, ingenious lyrics and diverse personalities that characterize the nine-member collective. The Wu-Tang Clan has released seven gold- and platinum-certified studio albums, with worldwide sales exceeding 40 million copies. With their 1993 debut album, songs like “CREAM” and “Protect Ya Neck” introduced Hip-Hop pioneer RZA as an innovative and revolutionary artist. With lyrics that combine the reality of 1990s New York and the world of martial arts, the Wu-Tang Clan has created a unique mythology that has captured the hearts of fans around the world.
