Caparezza returns to tell his story with the video clip of Like electronic music, song taken from his latest album “Orbit Orbit“.

With this song Caparezza signs a generational manifesto: he invites us not to take refuge in the past and to live the present fully, celebrating the passing of time as an energy to be transformed. His electronic and contemporary sounds contain the essence of someone who has learned to change without losing himself.

Like electronic music, it is a song I composed to make peace with time which, flowing mercilessly, drags all of us, inexorably, towards decline. In this process, however, I don't just see decay: I also recognize it as an opportunity to redefine the value of things and marvel again, facing life with a renewed gaze on myself and the world. Ultimately, everything that time subtracts turns into a reflection to add. And this song itself, which I'm happy to have written, would never have been born if I weren't, proudly, the age I am.” – says Caparezza.

THE VIDEO

In the official video clip, the images become a mirror of an intense journey between generations and the passage of time, guided by the fresh and contemporary gaze of director Roberto Celestri, chosen by the artist himself for his young age, perfect for visually interpreting the themes of the song.

INSTORE

In the wake of the strong enthusiasm for the copy-signing meetings last autumn with endless queues of fans flocking from all over Italy, Caparezza has announced new events, some of which have already sold out, to meet his audience and return to sharing moments of music and comics. The meetings, produced by BMG in collaboration with Ubik Librerie, will take place: on 27 March at the Sant'Agostino Auditorium in Benevento, on 28 March at the Cinema Gabbiano in Senigallia, on 30 March at the Arena – Spazio Culturale in Modena and on 31 March at the IIS “E.FERMI” Auditorium in Catanzaro. Added to the four appointments is the one on March 29th at the Teatro degli Animosi in Carrara, produced by BMG.

Furthermore, on the occasion of Record Store Day – the festival of independent record stores scheduled for April 18th – the instrumental version of Orbit Orbit will be published: a double vinyl in a limited and numbered edition (2000 copies) that can be purchased in all stores participating in Record Store Day.
