From the Valley of Mexico to Baja California Sur and San Francisco, Shandri emerges as a contemporary psychedelia project that dialogues with the roots of psych-rock while exploring territories of neo psychedelia.

Now he presents “Emancipate”, the second preview of his debut LP Overflowscheduled to premiere in May. With hazy guitars and hypnotic grooves, the song addresses that moment of clarity when you decide to prioritize your own truth and let go of a relationship that no longer represents you.

The single was produced by Ian Pascal and recorded between Hotel El Ganzo and studios in Mexico City, consolidating an organic and expansive sound that marks the beginning of the path towards their first album.

Black Rooster Sound

After years crossing paths on stages and dance floors, Black Rooster Sound join forces with La Changa Sound to present “The Cumbia of the Black Rooster.”
