The artist previewed some of the 64 bars to the public of his hometown, Salerno, during a day dedicated to celebrating his roots. A symbolic return in which Capo Plaza, accompanied by Red Bull, paid homage to his indissoluble bond with the territory where his human and musical journey began.
Fresh from the success of “4U EP”, the EP released last February in which he showed a more introspective side of his pen, Capo Plaza arrives at the famous Red Bull 64 Bars format with an intense and tight flow of consciousness. The bars retrace his rise – from the palaces of Pastena to the sports halls of Italy – strongly claiming his origins.
The text explores the dualism between the ostentation of luxury and success with the sense of isolation that can accompany it, outlining the portrait of a “survivor” who has never stopped fighting against his demons, transforming his past into an achievement.
The technical approach and flow confirm an increasingly defined artistic maturity, capable of combining introspection and awareness, consolidating his position in the contemporary scene, without forgetting the weight of that “world on his shoulders”.
