Review: SADTURS & KIID – “No Regular Music 2.5”

Reviews

Muscle upgrade for Sadturs & KIID: “No Regular Music 2.5” is not a simple deluxe, it is an extension of territory.

Almost a sequel, more than an addition. Fifteen new tracks that are grafted onto the original fourteen and bring the total to twenty-nine, an extra half hour that sounds like a second run in the same neighborhood.

Here the point is not quantity but function. Sadturs & KIID work as directors rather than beatmakers: they select, assemble, scout. They avoid the comfort zone of already saturated names and try to put fresh faces into circulation, building a network that has something curatorial, almost new-school A&R.

The tracklist confirms this posture: balance between consolidated presences and new recruits, with the idea of a system rather than a compilation.
The problem is that the sound often loops on itself. Flow, metrics, joints: everything already heard, everything already validated. A grammar that doesn't move.

In the midst of the noise, With you try to get off track: the intersection between the first room on the right, Massimo Pericolo and Latrelle is a small deviation, an attempt at an emotional deviation. Interesting, but not enough to change the inertia of the project.

Side note, but not too much: out of almost thirty feats, only one female presence, Enny P in Hell.

It's not a detail, it's a symptom. The scene that the record photographs is still closed, self-referential, not very inclined to real contamination. And in 2026, more than a limit, it sounds like a missed opportunity. Something absolutely needs to be changed!!!
