Fourth episode, this evening Saturday 11 April at 9.30pm, for Canzonissima, hosted by Milly Carlucci live from the Rai Auditorium of the Foro Italico.
Canzonissima continues its journey into music with the fourth episode, dedicated to a truly evocative theme: “The revenge of Sanremo”, that is, the artists will interpret a song that did not win at the Sanremo Festival, but which has remained in people's hearts.
The winning song of the third episode was Caruso by Lucio Dalla, played by Vittorio Grigólo, which will thus advance to the final together with “Il mio canto libero”, played by Fabrizio Moro, and “The football lever of the class of '68” played by Arisa.
The protagonist of this evening will also be the actor and director Alessandro Preziosi, currently working in the theatre, who will bring to the stage not only the story of his artistic experience, but will sing and dance to the tune of “Quelli belli come noi”, the historical theme song of Canzonissima '69, sung first by the Kessler twins and then also by Johnny Dorelli, and finally he will tell the true story of Malafemmena, Totò's song, one of the most performed songs in music Neapolitan, which will be nominated for Canzonissima, then performing it live for the audience in the studio and at home.
Bianca Guaccero will be the other special guest of Canzonissima who will unleash the audience present and at home with an engaging performance on the notes of “Rumore”.

THE JURY
This evening Alessandro Del Piero will be exceptionally added to the “Magnificent 7”. Icon of Italian football and much loved by the general public, Del Piero will participate as a special guest, joining the program's panel of commentators for an evening and bringing his charisma and experience to the stage, in a unique moment, where the Canzonissime of his heart will be the protagonists.
Returning to the song competition, three voting members will always comment on the performances and contribute to the choice of the Canzonissima: a panel of personalities from the world of entertainment, the “Magnificent 7” with the addition this evening of Alessandro Del Piero, Claudio Cecchetto, Francesca Fialdini, Pierluigi Pardo, Riccardo Rossi, Simona Izzo, Caterina Balivo and Giacomo Maiolini, the singers themselves – who will be able to vote for their favorite song excluding their own – and the public, involved through social media.
Accompanying the singers in the strictly live performances will be a 25-piece orchestra directed by Maestro Luigi Saccà; some performances will be enriched by a dance troupe whose choreography is entrusted to Matteo Addino.
THE VARIOUS EPISODES
Each episode is built around a specific theme:
• The song of the heart: a song by other artists that inspired their career.
• Dedication: a song by others to dedicate to someone or something special.
• The first success: the piece from one's repertoire with which the relationship with the public began.
• Sanremo's revenge: a song that didn't win at the Festival, but remained in people's hearts.
• The song I wish I had written: a loved and admired song that every artist would have wanted to sign.
• Your greatest hit: the signature song of your career.
Each performance, introduced by a clip in which the artist tells the reason for his choice and the value that song had in his human and professional journey, will provide emotions, transforming the performance into a moment of personal as well as musical storytelling. At the end of each episode, the Canzonissima of the episode will be proclaimed and will enter the final episode.
In the final episode there will be a further round in which all the winning “canzonissime” of each episode will be re-proposed in order to then crown the Canzonissima 2026.
