Music news

The second preview of My Cathedral shows a more melancholic and introspective side of the group.

Bizarre Love Triangle continues to reveal the singles that will be part of his next album, My Cathedralwhich will be released on May 15, 2026. On this occasion, the group premiered on April 10 “Pat a trenca”a song that comes after the launch of “Sacrifice” and which becomes the second preview of the album.

“Pat a trenca” is a song that, unlike “Sacrifice”presents a different tone, where the guitars build a more melancholic and introspective atmosphere. Lyrically, the theme focuses on the exploration of revenge from a symbolic level, with a dark tone and true to its essence, while developing a narrative focused on catharsis.

The piece stands out for having a more serene sound, moving away from dense experimentations to focus on the vibrant energy of punk and shoegaze. Here, the quartet reveals a new stage of artistic maturity; after his first advance, with “Pat a trenca” They show a more sensitive side, although without losing the seal that has defined them for years.

With this new preview, which also comes accompanied by a video directed by Neelam Khan Vela, Bizarre Love Triangle makes it clear that this single works as a confession in the face of betrayal, but also as a celebration of the learning that pain leaves behind. At the same time, the group confirms that it continues to be a band capable of creating melodies that reflect its evolution after more than two decades of experience.
