The British band Bloc Party will release his new studio album, Anatomy of a Brief Romance, September 11 and will be distributed by Virgin Music Group under the seal CONTAGIOUS LTD. The first single, “Coming on Strong”is now available.

Produced by the legendary Trevor Horn (known for his work with Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Pet Shop Boys), the album is emerging as the leader's most personal and confessional Kele Okereke. The lyrics address his recente separation, the emotional crisis and the reunion with love.

Every lyric you hear on this record is something that really happened to me. “I don’t think I’ve ever been so sincere before,” Okereke said in a press release.

About “Coming on Strong”, Okereke describedor a “forceful rhythm” with a “riff of hypnotic guitar” that evolves into a “sombre electro-rock arrangement that evokes the sound of espionage.”
