Rostam presents “Hardy” with Clairo

The single marks the creative reunion between Rostam and Clairo for the album American Stories.

After seven years without collaborating, Rostam and Clairo they coincide again in “Hardy”simple that is part of American Storiesthe next album from the musician and producer. This meeting comes after “Like a Spark” and “Back of a Truck”first previews of the material that will be released this Friday, May 15, 2026.

The song represents the reunion between two artists who worked together in Immunity (2019), debut album by Clairo produced by Rostam and recognized for songs such as “Bags”. Now, with “Hardy”the duo presented this May 11 a piece that pays tribute to the legendary French singer Françoise Hardy and which is built around a sample of the score composed by Georges Delerue for the movie Day for Night, of François Truffaut.

According to Rostamhe track It talks about looking back and forward at the same time, transmitting a message that invites us to maintain hope for the future.
