The album returns with a special edition with two new songs.
After 10 years of the premiere of Puberty 2 (2016), Mitsky presented a special edition of the material to commemorate its tenth anniversary. This re-release recovers part of the album's history and offers a renewed version of the material that helped consolidate the singer as one of the most recognized figures on the independent circuit.
The first edition of Puberty 2 was published on June 17, 2016 through Dead Oceans. This work marked a key moment in the singer-songwriter's career, since songs like “Your Best American Girl”, “Happy”, “Fireworks” and “I Bet on Losing Dogs” They helped build an album that explored themes such as identity, love, loneliness and the search for belonging.
Now, with the reissue of Puberty 2released this June 9, 2026 under the same record label, Mitsky presents a version that, unlike the original, has two extra songs. one of them is “Fireproof”song belonging to FOUR (2014), the fourth album by One Direction; Here, the artist transforms the original piece into a melancholic ballad marked by her characteristic style.
Likewise, the singer presented her own version of the classic Frank Sinatra, “I'm a Fool to Want You”from the disk Where Are You? (1957). Both songs are added to the 11 original songs from the album published in 2016, but now with two interpretations of songs belonging to different eras and artists. In addition to the digital edition, the anniversary is accompanied by commemorative merchandise and a limited edition on colored vinyl that will go on sale on October 30.
