This is the third preview of Alien Metalhis next album.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard presents “Kill For The Steel”a new single that is part of Alien Metalyour next study material. The song explores sounds within electronic music and although the material still does not have an official release date, its arrival is expected for 2026.
After the premiere of “Level 5” and “Alien Metal”first tracks revealed, the Australian group shares a piece that moves away from rock and psychedelia to give way to a song built from synthesizers and intense percussion, elements that bring the proposal closer to an atechno and rave atmosphere. Added to this are voices processed with robotic touches that finish building the identity of the song.
“Kill For The Steel” plays with the contradiction between denying death and, at the same time, making it clear that, if it is something that is really worthwhile, there will be no impediment to killing someone else. With this piece, the project reveals a new stage within its electronic facet, since the songs of Alien Metal They emerged from work with a modular synthesizer that the band used during their performances and which ended up becoming the basis of the album.
The premiere comes within the framework of Field Of Vision IIa festival organized by the band itself in Colorado, which will take place from August 14 to 16, prior to a series of presentations in the United States before their return to Australia. With each new advance, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard makes it clear that Alien Metal seeks to turn experimentation into its main tool, in order to create a new sound space from electronics and rave rhythms.
