Phoebe Bridgers reaches the top of the British Official Albums Chart for the first time as a soloist with Lost Weekend.
The third studio album by the Californian singer-songwriter thus surpasses the result of Punisher, which in 2022 stopped at number 6 in the United Kingdom.
The new milestone also completes a path already marked by a number one: in 2023 Bridgers reached the top together with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus with boygenius and the album the record. Lost Weekend, however, represents his first number one as a solo artist.
Behind Bridgers he debuts at number 2 WILD, KATSEYE’s third EPwhich pulverizes the previous peak of the lineup, the number 55 reached in 2025 with BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.
He enters third place The User’s Guide To Being Human by The Scriptwhich brings the Irish band’s albums capable of entering the British Top 10 to nine.
Fourth position for i Jungle with Sunshinethe group’s fifth studio album and fifth consecutive to reach the UK Top 10. With the entry of Lydia Kitto as an official member alongside Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, the band therefore maintains its continuity in the British charts intact.
SINGLES
Sam Fender and Olivia Dean after entering the history of British music they continue to set records. Their duet “Rein Me In” extends the longest stay at number one on the Official Singles Chart, reaching an unprecedented milestone: 21 non-consecutive weeks at the top.
VINYLS
Phoebe Bridgers also achieved a record with Lost Weekend achieving the first number one in the history of the US independent label. The album also leads the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and the Official Record Store Chart, confirming a particularly solid start also on the physical market.
