After several false starts and canceled concerts, Faith No More will return to the stage for the first time in more than ten years. Mike Patton's band will perform a series of stadium concerts in Australia and New Zealand alongside System of a Down in early 2027 – with no European date yet.
After years of failed efforts to get the machine back on track, Faith No More will finally return to the stage in 2027.
Patton eventually returned to the spotlight: reuniting his grindcore band Dead Cross, concerts with his faithful Mr. Bungle and various other projects, including a collaborative album with the Avett Brothers. But the prospect of Faith No More reforming seemed bleak. Patton described a situation in 2022 “a bit confusing and complicated”while in 2025, drummer Mike Bordin claimed that Patton “refused to do concerts with us”.
It was only at the beginning of summer that the reunion began to take shape: in June, the group made its return to Instagram with a photo of its fans bearing its logo and a huge “2027”.
