MUSE return to Italy in 2027 with a new live date: Saturday 17 July 2027 at the Lucca Summer Festival.
A concert that comes after the two events already announced at the Unipol Dome in Milan, Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November 2026, as part of the Muse – The Wow! Signal Europa Tour.
Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme will bring to Lucca the new show built around the songs of The Wow! Signal, the band’s tenth studio album, and a repertoire that spans over thirty years of career. The album, released in June 2026, debuted directly at number one in the British charts and opens a new phase in Muse’s journey.
The Milan concerts represent the band’s return to Italian indoor arenas ten years after the Drones World Tour, which in 2016 brought Muse for six concerts at the Unipol Forum in Milan. The new tour brings the British group back in front of the Italian public with a show dedicated both to the new album and to the songs that have marked their recent history.
The Wow! Signal takes its title from the famous radio signal intercepted in 1977 in the constellation of Sagittarius. The pulse, which lasted 72 seconds, was recorded by the Big Ear radio telescope at Ohio State University and identified in the alphanumeric sequence 6EQUJ5. Astronomer Jerry Ehman noted “WOW!” on the printing of the data, giving rise to the name by which the event is still known today.
In Lucca, the group will perform for the first time in the setting of the Historic Walls Area, with the Renaissance walls of the city as the backdrop to the concert. The presence of Muse will be one of the central events of the 2027 edition of the Lucca Summer Festival, the thirty-year anniversary of the event, which will take place entirely in the Mura area.
