UK charts: BLOSSOMS #1 in albums and BEATLES first in vinyl

The Blossoms reach the top of the British Official Albums Chart for the fifth time with Songs From The Wedding Cake.

The Stockport band achieved the result ten years after the release of their self-titled debut, confirming a commercial continuity that spans a decade of career.

The new album adds to the group’s four previous number ones: Blossoms (2016), Foolish Loving Spaces (2020), Ribbon Around The Bomb (2022) and Gary (2024). A path that places the English band among the most solid realities of contemporary British pop-rock.

Behind them they place themselves the Beatlesat number two with Rubber Soul, the 1965 album returned to the charts over sixty years after its original release.

Among other news of the week, Johnny Marr debuts in fifth place with The Age Of Everything, earning his second solo UK Top 5 entry following 2022’s Fever Dreams Pts 1-4.

The Beatles album instead conquers the top of the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, becoming the best-selling vinyl in the last seven days. Songs From The Wedding Cake by Blossoms leads the Official Record Store Chart, dedicated to sales in independent record stores.
