GHEMON returns to the theater with “The First Time. The Last Time. The Only Time”

Music news

Ghemon returns to Italian theaters in April 2027 with The First Time. The Last Time. The One Timehis second stand-up comedy show.

The tour, initially scheduled for November and December 2026, was postponed by a few months to allow the artist to continue the journey started in the United States, between Los Angeles and New York.

After A little thing like thatthe debut show staged between 2023 and 2024 with over 70 performances and a final appointment at the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan, Ghemon starts again from a new repertoire that crosses everyday situations and more intimate issues. The transition from music to comedy becomes the subject of a story, along with romantic relationships, funerals and visits to the andrologist. Ordinary life, with its contradictions, is the terrain on which to build personal comedy, capable of alternating observation and self-irony.

I called it that because life is teaching me that everything we do, every moment we live, every occasion we encounter is unique. Even when everything seems to repeat itself, people, the moment, ourselves change. Better to live than wait: this is the first, the last and the only time” – explains Ghemon regarding the title of the show, which starts from the daily life of each of us to make fun of the most diverse themes: from the career transition – the one that took him from music to comedy – to the life of a couple, up to more delicate and intimate themes such as, for example, funerals or the first visit to the andrologist.

After twenty years of a musical career and four dedicated to stand-up comedy, Ghemon has chosen to compete with the American scene, starting again from open mic and studying improvisation at UCB. A path that led him to perform in some reference clubs and to share the stage with comedians such as Rafi Bastos and Ismo, who involved him as the opening act of their respective shows.

The choice to deal with a different audience and professional environment represents a new test for an artist who has progressively broadened his field of action, from music to comedy. The return to Italy, scheduled for spring, will also bring the material developed during this American experience to the stage.
