Interview with Melodie

Interviews

Kittens, chaos, salt and pepper.

Finding one’s own identity also involves exploring its extremes and to Melodythis search translates into a project that embraces both its most cute as his most chaotic and hardcore side, in a moment that he recognizes as the most genuine of his career. From Puerto Rico, an island that fuels her creativity through its colors, climate and energy, to the unexpected connection she has found with the Chilean music scene, the artist builds a universe that responds to her concerns and everything that moves her.

That same concern led her to create a space to promote alternative sounds in Puerto Rico and bring together different communities around music, from punk and electronic to the community queer. More than a party, the project represents an opportunity to connect audiences, open doors to emerging artists and contribute to the growth of a scene that is still seeking to consolidate itself.

In interview, Melody He spoke to us about the freedom to explore its different facets, its links with Puerto Rico and Chile, and the importance of building spaces where alternative music can find, grow and express itself without restrictions.
