JAZZMI 2026, the eleventh edition begins: news, concerts and updates (info and tickets)

Music news

The eleventh edition of JAZZMI kicks off, the festival that since 2016 has been bringing the different aspects of contemporary jazz to Milan, including concerts, original productions, meetings and special projects.

The first appointment is the inauguration of Luciano Viti’s photographic exhibition “Miles in Italy”, at 6.00 pm at Noise – Il Cinemino, in via A. Sforza 49.

While waiting for the concerts, updates on the program are arriving.

Among the issues still open is the recovery of Erykah Badu’s concerts. The festival organization is working with the artist and his management to verify the possibility of identifying new dates. Rescheduling remains subject to the availability of all parties involved. In the meantime, ticketing services have been instructed to proceed with ticket refunds. The organizers thank the public for their patience, with a commitment to share any updates as they become available.

Registrations open today on jazzmi.it to attend Yazmin Lacey’s concert, with Arya as the opening act, scheduled for October 29th. The event is presented by Apple Music and brings to the festival program two voices that cross the new sensitivities of the contemporary musical panorama.

The Calibro 35 concert, scheduled for November 8th at 9pm at the Triennale Milano Teatro, is already sold out. To respond to public demand, sales open today for a second set on the same evening, at 11pm. A new opportunity to listen to the Milanese band live, which has always been committed to exploring the intersections between jazz, funk, library music and cinematographic imagery.

There is also news for the appointment on 28 October at the San Fedele Auditorium, where Thomas Umbaca joins the program with a set opening at 9.00 pm. Following, the concert by K. Sveinsson, G. Valtýsdóttir, B. Cools and I. Jurgelevičiūtė, for an evening that brings together different paths and languages.
