The group All Them Witches unveils a new single-clip, from their seventh studio opus, now available

The Americans from All Them Witches continue the adventure of their new album (the seventh!) House of Mirrors, by unveiling the music video for “The Welterweight”, directed by Johney Birrell. This song draws its inspiration from the family history of bassist and singer Charles Michael Parks Jr., whose grandfather was a welterweight champion in Alabama. “I’ve heard the word “welterweight” my whole life. This title resonated in my head for a long time before it became a song”he explains in the press release.

Described by guitarist Ben McLeod as “the group’s ballad”the title also highlights the piano playing of Allan Van Cleave, in an atmosphere that is both ample and melancholy.
