Frustration, renewal and search.
Karnivool has finally set a date for the release of his long-awaited fourth studio album, In Verses. In anticipation of the publication of this material, fixed pFebruary 6th, the h bandhas shared the first musical look with the song “Animation”. This track It is not just an isolated piece; was one of the first sound concepts to emerge during the album's writing sessions, developing in parallel with “All It Takes”.
“Animation” stands out for its dynamics: it alternates masterfully between ethereal and open verses that offer respite, and explosive, distorted choruses, con rhythmic intensity and groove rampant. This sonic duality reflects the complexity and maturity that Karnivool promises for his new album.
'Animation' delves into a new space within the rhythm section. Keeps the pulse of In Verses: firm, detailed, tense. “It reflects the frustration, renewal and search for light that runs through the album, while remaining faithful to our sound,” the band said in a press release.
