Music news

The last 10 years, Anitta She has spent it working from January to December almost without a break: songs, albums, massive concerts, award galas, collaborations, magazine covers, documentaries… That's why the short hiatus that the Brazilian has taken some time after releasing is surprising. her Netflix documentary, Larissa.

“At the end of last year I received an unprecedented Vanguard award in my country. Yesterday I received an unprecedented Vanguard award again, but in another country, in another culture. Being a vanguard means proposing new ideas to a movement that has been walking the same way for a long time, the greatest difficulty in being a pioneer is keeping your mind firm and safe on purpose, even if everyone around you is still very resistant to a new path of thinking” explains the Brazilian in one of her latest publications on social networks.

A path that led her to a catharsis in 2023 where everything changed for her: “The musical process that I am experiencing is rebirth, because I am starting everything again: Team, new record label, rhythm, everything new. At the end of last year I got very sick and I was in the hospital for five months. I stopped working and I couldn't enjoy the recognition I was having, because I got very sick. I had to stop the tour I was doing in Europe and I heard all that time that I was going to die and I didn't want to leave my music project. dream.”

For this reason, Anitta is clear that sometimes she needs these microbreaks: “Sometimes it is a very lonely place, but what brings tremendous inner understanding when you finally begin to see the changes that result from your persistence and resistance. Art has the power to change the world, to unite the world. Let that be the main objective of everyone to gain public recognition with their art. I feel fulfilled and happy with this recognition. ❤️ ❤️”.

When will we hear from the singer on a musical level? After launching Funk generation and Ensaios da Anitta In 2024 we will probably have to wait a while to hear a new album project. A different thing would be singles and collaborations that once again take the Brazilian to the top of the sales charts.
