Arlo Parks gives details of his new album and premieres “2SIDED”

Music news

Connection through movement, emotion and rhythm.

¡Arlo Parks is back! His new album, Ambiguous Desirearrives on April 3. Edited by Transgressive Recordsthis album is the result of two years of the British singer-songwriter thoroughly exploring nightlife in search of total freedom, which inspired her to create much more daring and experimental work.

Ambiguous Desire brings a mix of super sounds cool: from the wave queer and hedonistic Paradise Garage of New York and the melancholic rhythms of the British night of The Streets and Burialto the synthetic and cathartic energy of LCD Soundsystem and that youoque house of Theo Parrish.

For this project, the artist left recordings with a live band aside and focused on modular synthesizers, plugins from Ableton and samplerscapturing the frenetic vibe of clubbing. Although the production is more experimental, that much-applauded poetry and lyricism that defines his music remains at the heart of it all.

Furthermore, it has just launched “2SIDED”a preview that puts you fully into the vibe of the album, giving you a super tender look at that hope that a love that has just begun gives you, and that feels just as strong.
