The Puerto Rican superstar paid a vibrant tribute to the South American country, two months after his stop in Santiago.
Bad Bunny has always had a special place for Chile. The Latin music superstar expressed her love for the South American country in a series of Instagram Stories on Tuesday, almost two months after the Santiago stop of her Debí Tirar Más Fotos world tour.
The musician concluded his message with a word of gratitude. “They have been with me at every stage of my career, and I attach immense value to that. Thank you for this beautiful love that has been so special for so many years. »
During his stop in Santiago, which marked his first concerts of 2026, the Chilean audience fervently chanted the name “120”, taken from his third solo album El Último Tour Del Mundo. Since its release in 2021, the song has become a cult title among Chilean fans. In a moment that went viral, Bad Bunny emphatically shook his finger in refusal and stuck to his setlist. But over three nights at the Estadio Nacional, his band Los Sobrinos delivered stirring renditions of great Chilean anthems, including Víctor Jara's “El Derecho de Vivir en Paz” and Violeta Parra's “Gracias a La Vida.”
In his tribute on Instagram, he added: “One day, we’ll sing “120” together, I promise. »
There is clearly no bad blood between Benito and Chile. In his stories celebrating the country, he shared photos of Chile's mountains and vineyards and highlighted music by Chilean artists, like '80s punks Los Prisioneros and reggaeton singer Floyymenor.
Bad Bunny's love of Chile is nothing new. In 2020, he collaborated with Chilean rapper Pablo Chill-E on “Hablamos Mañana”, from YHLQDLG. A few weeks after his concerts in Santiago this year, the superstar performed at the Super Bowl halftime show. During this moment of communion where he blessed each country in the Americas, Benito shouted the name of Chile first. Long live Chile!
