Music news

The supergroup Beat, formed by Adrian Belew, Steve Vai, Tony Levin and Danny Carey, will pass through Paris and Strasbourg in June 2026.

After transcending the work of King Crimson during an event tour in 2024, the supergroup Beat is preparing to pack his bags in France. See you on June 10 at the Olympia (Paris) and on the 13th at the PMC – Salle Erasme (Strasbourg). See you on December 12 at 10 a.m. via AEG for tickets to go on sale.

Beat is a supergroup formed by Adrian Belew, singer and guitarist of King Crimson from 1981 to 2009, Tony Levin, historic bassist of the group still present. Added to the line-up are Steve Vai, guitar hero who has a prolific solo career after having found success at the start of the solo adventures of David Lee Roth (ex-Van Halen) and Danny Carey, drummer of Tool.

Together, the four virtuosos prepare to base their performances on the albums Discipline, Beat And Three Of A Perfect Pairrespectively released in 1981, 1982 and 1984. In addition to marking the arrival of Adrian Belew and Tony Levin within King Crimson, these three records mark a particular period in the rich career of the British progressive rock group, which was then inspired by new wave and post-punk.

See you in June 2026 to enjoy the pieces of this supergroup which will pay homage to a unique period in the work of King Crimson.
