Through Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings, Bob Dylan will throw The Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1976 Live Recordingsa box set made up of 39 albums that will arrive on November 6, 2026. This installment documents one of the most important and notable stages in the American singer-songwriter’s career.
The collection presents the second leg of the tour Rolling Thunder Revuecovering 27 performances performed from April 18 to May 25, 1976. The package brings together a total of 381 songs, of which 371 had never been published. Among these shows, the one on May 23 in Colorado stands out, which was only broadcast once on television as part of the special Hard Rain of the chain NBC.
During this tour, Dylan He was accompanied by different musicians, including Joan Baezwho participated in vocals and guitar on songs like “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “Sport”in addition to guests such as Willie Nelson, Joni Mitchell, Allen Ginsberg and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott. For its part, the support band was made up of bassist Rob Stonerthe violinist Scarlet Rivera, T Bone Burnett and Mick Ronsonformer guitarist Spiders from Marsband David Bowie.
On par with box setan independent package will be published in triple vinyl format with the complete concert that the artist gave on May 16 in Texas. The material will include 22 songs, including a new version of “Going, Going, Gone”. With this launch, Dylan recovers a fundamental stage of his career through recordings that will allow the discovery of new versions of some of his most notable songs.
