Katy Perry arrived in Bologna last night for her only Italian date The Lifetime Tour.
A concert that got off to a slow start due to a technical blackout which interrupted the start of the show for over half an hour. When all seems lost, the show has finally come to life — phantasmagorical, theatrical, at times excessive but always irresistibly pop.
The stage, shaped like an infinity, extends into the audience, while eight dancers become part of the visual narrative.
The live performance is divided into five sections (one double), a pop musical where rhythm, color and theatricality replace the classic idea of a concert. Perry alternates moments of pure energy with more conversational pauses.
Between vintage references and monumental stage architecture, the pop star nevertheless conquers the public. Wave the tricolor up All The Love and promises to return: appointment set for July 19th in Lucca.
