Donald Trump said he refused to pardon Diddy

Sean Combs, who is serving a 50-month prison sentence for transportation of human beings for the purpose of prostitution and who was acquitted of sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, reportedly wrote a letter to the President of the United States asking for clemency. Donald Trump himself said it in an interview with the New York Times, in which he said he had been close to the rapper in the past: “We were very good friends, we got along well and he seemed like a good person, but when I ran for office, he was very hostile.” Trump also underlined that he had rejected the pardon request received from Diddy, that he had no intention of granting it to him and that he had also decided to reject other pardon requests from other well-known figures.
