Now we watch series in marathons, but there was a time when we watched them episode by episode every week. One of them was B&B that Telecinco broadcast between 2014 and 2015. An editorial office where current events were bustling with Belen Rueda in front. There I met again Fran Perea after The Serranos who already dedicated one of his songs to that boy who sang to the girl in the next room.
There it was Mario Rojas a photographer from Malaga who emigrated to Madrid to capture the perfect photo. He shared a flat with another man from Malaga played by Dani Roviraa trainee journalist who also had the opportunity to work in a large magazine in the capital.
“The story of Mario It had a huge parallel with my life. Furthermore, it is the first character from Malaga that I played on television. In cinema, he had already done before The Throat in The Way of the English of Antonio Banderas. So Mario was the perfect character to compose a song that had Málaga as the protagonist: that perfect photo, that corner that each of us who are from here have, even those who are not here,” he explains. Fran Perea about this new single.

Fran Perea's tribute to Malaga
Like Mario, Perea also had to leave his native Málaga and that had its pros and cons. “I believe that everyone should travel and see the world and face the challenge of leaving the now called comfort zone. On the other hand, Leaving your city means missing your family and friends a lot.. Not being able to see them in your daily life, for example, not being able to visit your grandparents on a Tuesday… What you leave behind weighs. And well, a Madrid-Málaga was affordable even when I left, but for people who go to another country it must be very hard. The feeling of uprooting also develops quite a bit, even if the distance is short.”he explains.
He had to leave, but that does not imply forgetfulness. He has always had his Malaga very present. “The smile, the good vibes, I think it has a lot to do with the people of Malaga. And the whole artistic part too: Malaga is the birthplace of many people who have felt the need to express themselves artistically. and I have been one of them,” he proudly admits about the influence of his place of origin.
A song that he has composed with JavyPablo (the Imbroda brothers), from Malaga too. And together with his inseparable Victor Elias with whom he never stops sharing projects.
The video clip of The perfect photoloaded with symbolism
The video clip has been created with the perfect photos that Fran Perea's followers have sent through social networks to be part of this new topic. On the objective you can see a series of numbers, they are the coordinates of the Bilbao metro in Madrid, near where the building that served as the B&B publishing house is locatedthe fictional magazine where Mario worked. It is also close to the Luchana Theaters, a very familiar place for Fran Perea.
More symbols in these images. The corner element is a biznagais something very representative of Malaga, it is made with the stem of a thistle that serves as a base for sticking jasmine flowers. In addition, it is the award given at the Malaga Film Festival, another nod to his role as an actor.
It is one of the songs of The invisible manan album in which Fran Perea is giving voice to some of the most relevant characters of his career as an actor. With this character, the first from Malaga he played, he was able to reconcile himself with his accent.
In this project, in addition to working again with Belen Rueda -after The Serranos– also coincided with Dani Rovira, Jorge Uson either Macarena Garcia –with whom he had already worked in Moon, the mystery of Calenda-.
letter of The perfect photo
I carry the backpack on my back
And in the eyes the certainty
To see you again…
I put the focus on another land
I decided to change the sand
For a dream and you see…
That even though I miss you,
It still tastes like salt.
Being a random nomad…
I live on a highway…
I don't have a home anymore.
Going on wheels,
Horse in race…
I don't have a flag…
If I'm at your side…
And even though I miss you,
It still tastes like salt.
You are the perfect photo…
You are the perfect photo…
Hitting water
To the breakwater that maintains
Calm the tide…
The light in the afternoon…
The Carmen baths,
I have you in front of me.
I'll take your photo.
And although I miss it…
I know you'll never leave.
You are the perfect photo…
You are the perfect photo…
You are the perfect photo…
