GLORIA, Paky's new album, will be released on December 12th
Paky has announced the release of his new album, Gloria, which arrives three years after the previous one, Salvatore, and which will be released on December 12th.
Night has fallen on Rozzano again. The Tower, a harsh and indelible symbol of PAKY's origins, has once again imposed itself on Milan: first on the LED walls that appeared in recent days in the city, dark, overturned, then in the trailer published a few days ago, a short film with a cinematic feel that officially marks the announcement of the new album.
The video opens in the storm: lightning, rain, a city suspended between reality and symbol. The journey continues inside an empty church, a sacred place that becomes a scene of loss and revelation. In front of his parents, Paky speaks as if he were confessing an entire neighborhood: pain, memory, the wounds that never stop burning.
“We have all lost something in this life and so have I I've been losing all my life.
Savior, Salvatore lives today I read this sentence on the walls on the shirts on the records but Salvatore Vive is a lie even God exists is a lie
God is not in these buildings God is not in these houses God is not in these streets, I have hit rock bottom several times without ever managing to bring a little sand up. I've spent my whole life running for glory too, this fucking glory”.
The story passes through the memory of his uncle Salvatore, an eternal presence in the artist's history. The series, the old covers, the trauma of the accident. “Salvatore lives” is questioned, brought back to its naked truth. “There is God, it's a lie,” says Paky as images of gray buildings, public housing, unforgiving streets scroll by. This is where the need for GLORY is born: a continuous race, obsession and wound at the same time.
