The trio of Walter Roblero and the brothers Rodrigo and Jorge Santisan icon of Chilean music from the late 90s, returned after almost ten years to release a new album. FRANKIE & Kelma Duran

McArthur is the collaborative debut album by FRANKIE (Franziska Aigner)composer and vocalist in Berlin, and Dominican-American producer Kelman Duran. The idea for the album was born from a meeting in 2022 in a church in Schöneberg that led to a collaboration. After exchanging ideas remotely, the two met in Athens and Los Angeles to develop this material. With Aigner writing “in the negative space” of the beats of Kelman Duranthe album is a soundscape in time and geography, where improvisation, silence and tension coexist with references to reggae, techno, free jazz and classical music, in addition to collaborations such as that of Alex Zhang Hungtai.

FACE
