The General is the second release after the summer single “Perhaps” by Guns N’ Roses.

Premiered on stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the song features the band formed by Axl Rose (vocals, keyboard), Duff McKagan (bass), Slash (lead guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboard), Richard Fortus (guitar rhythm), Frank Ferrer (drums) and Melissa Reese (keyboard) grappling with a piece that comes from the past, from the sessions of the 2008 album “Chinese Democracy”.

Is The General who Perhaps, they are pieces created for “Chinese Democracy”, the songs released in 2021, Absurd and Hard Skool, also come from the same album.
The song is also released in digital format and as a B-side of the 7″ vinyl of Perhaps.
