According to the main interested party, it is “an ode to self-confidence and the way we present ourselves when we seek to conquer the world. I was listening to The Replacements’ first album when writing this piece, which is very energetic musically. Transformation and individual evolution are recurring themes for me and this piece analyzes them with a removed garage-punk filter. »
Gyasi distinguished himself through records as striking as they are immediate, such as Here Comes The Good Part Or Rock ‘n’ Roll Sword Fight. A talented frontman, he also masters the guitar, so much so that he recorded the lead parts of The Revenge of Alice Cooperalongside the original members of Vincent Furnier’s group. “We enlisted the services of Gyasi, a musician from Nashville. He’s in his thirties, but looks straight out of 1974! » exclaims Alice Cooper in an interview with the editorial staff. “He can play anything, whether it’s Jeff Beck or Glen Buxton! He was perfect for this record and we took advantage of it (laughs). »
