Held. debuts with “New You Anthem feat. Frank Iero”

Combining talent from two fundamental bands of the genre.

Held.the new and promising supergroup de post hardcore, has announced the imminent release of his debut album, FLOCKscheduled for May 15.

The band is made up of Douglas Robinson (voice and guitar) and Sal Mignano (bass), both former members of the acclaimed band post hardcore The Sleepingnext to Josh Eppard (drums), known for his work on Coheed and Cambria.

As a preview of his album, Held. has released his first single, “NEW YOU ANTHEM”a powerful example of his musical direction. The song has a notable collaboration: the participation of the guest vocalist Frank Ierorenowned guitarist and co-vocalist of the iconic band My Chemical Romance.

“NEW YOU ANTHEM” merge post hardcore, math rock and post rock, standing out for its complex instrumentation and the emotional voice of Robinson. The rhythmic base of Mignano and Eppard It is technical and fluid, providing the “mathematical” character with changes in time. The chorus, with Robinson and Frank Ieroit's a hook memorable.
