Holly Humberstonethe singer-songwriter who won the award BRIT Rising Star In 2022, he is preparing for the release of his second studio album, Cruel Worldwhich will arrive on all platforms on April 10.

As a preview of this new production, the artist has already shared the first single, “To Love Somebody”. This song is presented as a confessional pop piece, characterized by its lyrical honesty and a daring approach to its instrumentation. Accompanying the launch, a video clip was released that has captured attention for its unique visual aesthetic, which pays a clear tribute and direct reference to German expressionist cinema, known for its dramatic angles, contrasting shadows and intense atmospheres.

The album explores love as something beautiful and inherently painful. In 'To Love Somebody', I wanted to capture that contradiction: to love someone is to hurt someone, and to lose someone, well, at least you have to love someone. To feel extreme happiness, you have to know extreme sadness. That is the tension of the album,” said the artist.
