I-DAYS MILANO 2024: GREEN DAY are the first headliners (Info & Tickets)

Music news

GREEN DAY will be the first headliners of the 2024 edition of I-DAYS MILANO.

On 16 JUNE 2024, the Californian band symbol of punk rock will set the I-DAYS Milan stage on fire at the IPPODROMO SNAI LA MAURA for a single live event in our country of “THE SAVIORS EU/UK TOUR”, a date in which they will celebrate their two most successful albums, “Dookie” and “American Idiot”, and the new album “Saviors”.

The “THE SAVIORS EU/UK TOUR” is the opportunity for Billie Joe Armstrong, Trè Cool and Mike Dirnt, to celebrate two epic albums that have marked their history in 2024 with a show that will offer fans hits from “Dookie” 30 years after its release (winner of the 1995 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album) and of “American Idiot” twenty years after its release (a record which in 2004 debuted at number one on the Billboard charts of best-selling albums and in the UK Official Album Chart and then won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2005).

Last week GREEN DAY released the unreleased single “The American Dream Is Killing Me” which anticipates the new album “Saviors” out on January 19, 2024.

Warming up the audience before them will be NOTHING BUT THIEVES, increasingly leaders of the new English scene.
NOTHING BUT THIEVES will tour their fourth album “Dead Club City” released on June 30th and entered the UK album charts at #1 with songs such as the singles “Welcome to the DCC” and “Overcome” (which reached the Top 50 and the Top 70 of Italian radio airplay) and the third single “Tomorrow is Closed”.

As the Gio Forma team, which oversaw the new graphic design, said: “Everything comes from the fusion of three-dimensional elements that recall the buildings of the city of Milan with the map of the city itself. This match leads to a modular, fresh and impactful visual identity on both digital and real surfaces, of small or very large dimensions.
The logo – adds the Gio Forma creative team – incorporates these elements and adds another: movement and transformation, elements that recall the cultural dynamism of Milan.
Color takes on a very important role, similar to the colors of the subway lines, they guide people through the show.
