Question (P): The '7' is in your stage name, on your latest album (whose title is VII) and on the tour you're involved in right now, TRANSMU7ATION. What does this number mean to you?
Answer (R): The truth is that the mystique with numbers is not very clear to me. They appear to me and haunt me more than I define them as such. My father's birthday is September 7th and I don't know, it always resonated in my head. There was another time when I put one of the cards from the poker deck in my wallet and it turned out to be the 7 of diamonds. When I first entered a rap competition, I put on Seven. From then on, the number 7 established itself in my life and appeared at different times. Then I started to study what's up with the 7. The 7 days of the week, the chakras, the colors, the musical notes, there are a lot of things in which the 7 is there. It's mystical and I let it haunt me, it amuses me.

Q: How has the album been received by fans?
A: Super cute. It's an EP that I worked on in Spain with a producer called Lex from Barcelona. It's my first project that I didn't record myself. I was on tour until this weekend and I am very surprised by how they sing those songs, as if they had come out a long time ago. It's a pretty simple EP, natural to my way of being and my way of speaking. Among all the music I make it is the most pop, but I loved how it was received.

Q: And what do you think this EP means for your career?
A: This EP is a part of me. It was a conclusion of these last years in which I was working a lot with the guitar, with making more pop and rock. Now comes the return to my origins, to rapping and what is my natural way.
Now comes the return to my origins, to rapping and what is my natural way
Q: Since you mentioned it, what were your origins like? At what moment did you decide that you wanted to dedicate yourself to music?
A: Music as such has always been in my life. I played the guitar when I was very young and I sang a lot for pleasure, out of absolute passion. I never believed it was real. It was in the last year of school when I started rapping freestyle because the El Quinto Escalón movement appeared. It became fashionable and I was one of the first people who, when the boom started, I totally went for it. Before rap, I believed that a song was an impossible masterpiece. Learning to rhyme I realized that I could improvise and compose lyrics.
Q: Have you also produced your music yourself?
A: Yes, but that was later, around 2019, after the first two years of releasing music. I became more nerdy, I was always a computer bug. It was a matter of grabbing the programs and applications and starting to practice. After that I began to have many more tools and contact with other producers. I love the production, it drives me crazy.
Q: Are you now carrying out your first international tour. Why is it called TRANSMU7ATION?
A: TRANSMU7ATION It is a concept that I developed to encompass everything that is happening to me this year. It is the result of everything I have been through these past two years and everything I learned as a producer, artist and also on a personal level. This year I returned to being an independent artist, taking all the reins of my project and I think that is what I wanted to bring to the live show. I'm putting on a super energetic show. I went from playing with a band to dismantling it and throwing myself into the production, taking the tracks and putting together new versions, playing various instruments, a little bit of keys, a little bit of guitars. TRANSMU7ATION That's it, the result of everything these years were, of how I changed and understood that I had to be myself more than ever.
Q: How have you managed the tour preparations?
A: I started putting together new versions, things that sometimes generate euphoria, sometimes sadness, trying to bring out the strongest of those emotions. I am rehearsing a lot, practicing singing a lot and preparing myself physically to be able to get to all these places with air. The other day I played in Quito (Ecuador), the second highest city on the planet, so I noticed that it was difficult for me. Now I'm also making a lot of music to continue adding before I go to Spain. I want to get a lot.
Q: You have already passed through some cities. How have you experienced those shows?
A: Incredible, really super cute. I was in some cities where I had been and then others that I had never been to. I did not expect to have that reception from the people in Ecuador and I am super happy to be able to display this show that, as I told you, I am working a lot on and in which I am adding more and more things so that it continues to evolve.
Q: In October you will pass through Madrid and Barcelona. How do you feel? What can you tell us?
A: I'm super excited to finally be able to do it. Spain is my second home. My father has lived there since I was very young and I have some sisters who also live there, so I have had the privilege of having gone a few times. I stayed here in 2023 and a lot of people came. I am completely excited to be able to take my show there. The only thing I need is to release a couple more songs that I want to include. I think I'll go away for the entire month of October to base myself and connect with my artist friends. I've been releasing music from people from Spain, last year Xavibo, this year Soge Culebra and I have a couple more that I'm preparing.
Q: You recently released the song as KÓMO TE KOMO with Soge Culebra. How did this collaboration come about and what does this song mean to you?
A: For me it is super important because it is my second reggaeton and it was like breaking a barrier that I had set for myself. Soge is one of my favorite artists from Spain. I have admired him for many years. Last year I had the privilege of meeting him. We were sharing messages and then we met in the studio to work on this song. Super excited. I wish we could sing it together.

Q: We have also seen photos with Khea in what could seem like a video clip.
A: We always have things with him, we are brothers. We started this together and continued to build the entire empire together. We accompany each other and orient ourselves, we push each other. So yeah, obvious, right? I don't want to say too much, but things come with it, like every year.
Q: And as for Spanish artists, you have commented that you also have something prepared and that in October your intention is to get together with more people. On social media you follow people like Recycled J or MVRK. What artists do you have in mind?
A: I already have a fear with Aleesha. The other day in Ecuador there was a boy who told me that it was his favorite song, so I hope we can sing it together too. I already told you that I'm going to be there. And after what you told me, I would love to make music with Recycled. We had already cooked something that didn't end up coming out. I would also love MVRK. There is another one also called Marc, Marc Seguí. We also talked a lot with him and we became friends and super cool, but we still haven't finalized a song. I'm really looking forward to doing something. There is one that you didn't mention luckily, with whom I already have something prepared but I don't want to throw it away yet.
Q: A clue.
A: He's Spanish, he's a machine and he just released an album.
Q: And finally, if you had to send a message to your Spanish fans, what would it be?
A: See you there. We are going to break it all, with a lot of emotional treatment, with a lot of rock, a lot of quilombo. If you have the opportunity, if you have that day off, don't miss it, there are still a couple of tickets left and the truth is that nothing, I hope it is the first of many. Don't miss the first one because it's going to be historic.
We are going to break it (…) It is going to be historic.
