New date for the Ark of Loré in Rome with JOVA AL MASSIMO, at the Circus Maximus.
Eight months later the first date is sold out and a second date opens on September 13th. Same place, same horizon, two evenings to close Lorenzo Jovanotti's summer journey.
The doubling also concerns time: from the early afternoon the Circus Maximus is transformed into an open space, crossed by music and meetings, where the experience comes to life well before the evening concert. The absolute protagonists of these days will be the great DJ sets, designed as special and unrepeatable moments for this unique place.
After the announcement of the presence of Gabry Ponte for the DJ set of Olbia's debut, two leading artists on the international scene will take to the console in Rome.
On September 12th, Benny Benassi, Lorenzo's historic companion in many musical adventures, will be the protagonist, while on September 13th it will be Afrojack's turn, for two exclusive sets that will mark the identity and energy of the entire event.
Each set adds a point of view, a different rhythm, a presence that dialogues with the place and the audience. The stage remains open, the flow continues, and the Circus Maximus accompanies the audience over a period of hours which broadens the meaning of the evening.
The journey starts from Sardinia and continues in Abruzzo, Puglia, Calabria, Campania and Sicily. Seven cities only, chosen to become real stops and not quick passages to then return to where it all began, a few days before his most rounded birthday for a giant hug with the city where he was born.
Loré's Ark takes shape night after night, adapting to places and people. Every concert changes structure, rhythm, direction. There is no idea of ​​replicating, but of building a story that grows along the way and finds meaning precisely in the movement.
Between one stage and another, the journey continues away from the stage. With the JovaGiro, Lorenzo crosses Italy by bicycle, bringing the spirit of the tour onto the roads and relaunching the idea of ​​travel as a meeting, shared time and attention to the territory.
The great hits of Lorenzo and Niuiorcherubini, the overwhelming new album released surprisingly last November, act as the soundtrack to this journey. Written in six days in New York, the album was born from a creative urgency and accompanies the live performance as open material, ready to change shape night after night.
