Music news

Karol G is having a good time. The Colombian star has just released his fourth studio album: Tropicochaete. An album in which he explores various sounds from Latin America. In addition, the album features a very special collaboration: the song Summer Pink next to his partner Feid. Now, to talk at length about this album and this song, the Colombian star has granted an interview to Cristina Saralegui in Cristina's Show. A program that has been broadcast again on Univisión only by Karol. Since the journalist had not sat on a set for fifteen years.

Karol, in addition to talking about the sounds that have inspired this new work, has talked about his relationship with Feid. A courtship that began in 2022 and that has become one of the most stable in the music industry. The Colombian has confessed that she sees herself forming a family with him in the coming years. What's more, the artist has confessed that she even sees herself as a grandmother holding his hand.

“They have asked me as a mother, but not as a grandmother, but yes, I see myself as a grandmother”the singer began by saying about her relationship with Feid. The artist continued explaining that she wants to have a family in the future: “We are from a traditional Colombian family, So yes I see myself like that. I don't know when, but I see myself,” he concluded by explaining.

It is true that in recent months, the singer sparked rumors about possible motherhood. And the artist decided to disappear from social networks for two months after finishing the Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful era. In the end, Karol was not pregnant, but rather preparing Tropicoqueta and taking a well-deserved break after several years of non-stop work.

About the creation of Tropicoqueta

Karol G also talked about the reasons that led her to create Tropicoqueta. And the artist prepared the album from scratch knowing the concept: Latin culture. “Every day I fall more in love with who we are as Latinos and what our cultures and traditions represent,” the star said in the interview.

“Beyond talking only about tropical sounds, “It is about all the joy that the heart carries, from walking around the world, from getting to know the world and from claiming every place I go as our culture,” he concluded by saying.

Without a doubt, Tropicoqueta was one of the most anticipated albums of the year and has met the expectations of its fans.
