Latin GRAMMY 2027: Italy as host country of the Latin GRAMMY Celebrate on Rai

The Latin Recording Academy has named Italy as the host country of the Latin GRAMMY Celebra, the Academy's internationally acclaimed tribute format.

Produced in collaboration with RAI, the event's official broadcaster, the special will celebrate Italian music, the talent of its stars and the cultural influence of Made in Italy songs around the world.

In spring 2027, RAI will host Latin GRAMMY Celebra, an official tribute event of the Latin Recording Academy that will pay homage to iconic Italian artists and songs that have left an indelible mark on Italian music, inspiring audiences around the world.

Broadcast in prime time on Rai 1, the specials will feature unforgettable performances by acclaimed Italian and international stars. Each episode will celebrate one or more legendary singers — selected in collaboration with the Latin Recording Academy — whose music has helped make the Italian repertoire timeless and influential across generations and around the world.

LATIN RECORDING ACADEMY

The Latin Recording Academy is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, celebrating, honoring and enhancing Latin music and its creators. Recognized as a global authority on Latin music, this organization — made up of industry professionals — produces the annual Latin GRAMMY Awards (known as “The Biggest Night in Latin Music”), which honor excellence in the recording arts and sciences, as well as offers educational and outreach programs for the music community through the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation.
